What do you do?Â
I am a Personal Investors Acquisition Manager in Client Engagement. I primarily manage a team of associates whose sole purpose is to share information about T. Rowe Price’s products and services with prospects and hopefully earn additional business for the firm.
What do you love about your job?
The art of sales is something that has always fascinated me, and I have always been a natural born leader, so I love that I have the opportunity to combine both of my passions. Also, I really love when I am able to help an associate be better in their role and achieve their career aspirations. I feel energized and even more motivated when I can be a part of someone else’s success story.
What’s the biggest positive lesson you’ve learned in your career field?
I believe the biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is to really understand, know, and stay fully committed to my values, who I am as a person, who I am as a leader, and to own my story. Sometimes when you are trying to climb up and make moves in your career, it is easy to lose sight of who you are because you are trying to conform to what the norm or culture is for an individual that is a key decision maker. I’ve learned that regardless of where I am aspiring to go that I need to stay grounded and committed to my values, and to always share make sure that I share my story.
