What role do you play in your Industry?

I am Associate Lead Ambassadors for Forever and Consultant for Creative Memories. I do both traditional and digital scrapbooking and sell both.

What year did you start in your industry?

What Certifications, Degrees, Titles and Experience do you have in your industry?

MBA in Business Admitted and MS in Management. I am Associate Lead Ambassador at Forever and Consultant for Creative Memories with over 16 years in the scrapbooking Industry.

Why & How did you get involved in your industry?

I got involved in scrapbooking because I wanted to leave a legacy for my son and memories of his childhood and life.

What do you love most about your role in your industry?

What I love most about scrapbooking is helping others preserve and organize their photos and videos. Also bringing their old memories back into their lives.

What is the best advice you have received about how to impact your industry?

The best advice that I have received is everyone take pictures and videos. Everyone do not organize their memories right ways some have theirs on computer, in boxes and on external hard drives. They also think that this way is secure.

What do you think are the top 3 things that help people excel in your industry?

1. Being Flexible 2. Always be willing to learn and experience new things. 3. Patient with people because people do not start organizing their pictures and videos right away.

What encouragement would you give to those who are interested in being in your industry?

Be patient because with digital industry there are more pictures and more videos taken each and ever day.

What do you think is the most important qualities for people to have in your industry?

Being able to help others organize their precious memories in little or no time because people are busy and they do not want to take a lot of time organizing their pictures and videos. Forever and Creative Memories make it easy to organize your memories.

What obstacles have you overcome, or are you overcoming to excel in your industry?

One obstacle that I have overcome is I am one of the few Blacks that are in the Scrapbooking Industry.

What accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?

I am proud to be retired twice once from the Army and from the state of Colorado. Also owning my own business for over 16 years.

Who is is one person that has influenced your direction in life? Explain How.

What advice would you give to the younger generation?

My advice for the younger generation is to do something that you love. There is so much opportunities today. Learn all you can!!

What do you want your legacy to be?

My legacy is I grew up in the small town is Selma Alabama where there was a lot of racism and segregation. I was the first one in my family to graduate from a HBC College. You can be anything you want just put your mind to it.
