Psychology of... Horror Villains, Survivors, and Victims. Movie Edition vol. I analyzes iconic horror villains. What may have caused their deviant behavior? Could they have been helped? What treatments are used for the disorder they may have had?

I am an avid reader and writer. My earliest story was written in kindergarten. A ghost story. My affinity for writing scary stories came from my weekly trips to the drive-in with my parents. Fantasy was also a passion, garnered from watching The Wizard of Oz, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, Lord of The Rings animated films, The Dark Crystal, and many others.

Those passions expanded over the years. I have written articles for Vocal online and Brain and Life magazine. I wrote a short story for the anthology “The Many Lives of Bindi” and published the first book in the extensive Psychology of…series “Psychology of…Horror Villains, Survivors, and Victims. Movie Edition vol. 1”.

I have a Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

What role do you play in your Industry?
  • I am an author contributing creative ways to look at psychology and criminality.

What year did you start in your industry?

  • Early 90's. Although I have been writing short stories and greeting cards since elementary school.

What Certifications, Degrees, Titles and Experience do you have in your industry?

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Why & How did you get involved in your industry?

  • I have always loved to read and create stories.

What do you love most about your role in your industry?

  • Being creative and using my imagination to educate others in a variety of subjects.

What do you think are the top 3 things that help people excel in your industry?

  • Creativity Positive attitude Motivation

What encouragement would you give to those who are interested in being in your industry?

  • Never give up no matter the amount of rejections you may face. Some of the most famous author's, artists, actors, etc have all faced rejection.

What do you think is the most important qualities for people to have in your industry?

  • Anyone who is in the creative fields must be able to handle criticism. Accept editorial changes as long as it doesn't change your core belief's.

What obstacles have you overcome, or are you overcoming to excel in your industry?

  • Last June suffered a stroke. I also have Lupus so my health has been a major obstacle. I pushed on and fought to finish my book.

What accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?

  • Completing my Master's degree. Completing and publishing my book.

Who is is one person that has influenced your direction in life? Explain How.

  • My husband.

What advice would you give to the younger generation?

  • Be exceptional in whatever you put your mind to. Make sure to be financial literate.

What do you want your legacy to be?

  • That I never gave up and books I have written my future generations can have something from me.
