Rasta Fit Training

My name is Shaheen Johnson aka Shai and I am the owner of Rasta Fit Training. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and a current resident of Aurora, CO. I wasn’t really involved in sports while in school and have never been the athletic type, I’m just a Mother of four who got tired of being unhealthy. I have always had an interest in the human body. I attended Everest College and received a certification for Medical Assisting in 2007. My own personal health journey began in 2013, when I became frustrated with my own health. I began to workout and change my eating habits among other things. In 2016, I began working out with friends and helping them on their own journey’s and they put the idea out there for me to look into Personal Training. At the time,it wasn’t something that I really took seriously, but eventually decided to entertain the idea and get more information. In 2018, I became a Certified Personal Trainer through International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) . I am currently working on my recertification through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) for personal training as well as nutrition certification.
