What role do you play in your Industry?

I’m a three time published author and I’m also a contributing writer for three magazine publications.

What year did you start in your industry?

I starting writing my first book in 2015 and it was published in 2016, “The Music in Me” (First Edition)

What Certifications, Degrees, Titles and Experience do you have in your industry?

In addition to being a published book author, I also am a lyricists, that’s actually my first writing experience starting at age 11. I also am Founder/Music Director of two internet radio stations and a voiceover professional.

Why & How did you get involved in your industry?

Well, Arts & Entertainment as a whole are in my blood. But actually writing books started late 2015.

What do you love most about your role in your industry?

Being able to share my stories and broadening my writing in other formats. I love when my writings can inspire and motivate others to live out their dreams and passions, that’s what brings me the most joy, when my words mean something to my readers.

Why & How did you get involved in your industry?

Not to be afraid to take risks. Be true to who you are and the stories you share. Keep going and not give up.

What is the best advice you have received about how to impact your industry?

I’m a three time published author and I’m also a contributing writer for three magazine publications.

What do you think are the top 3 things that help people excel in your industry?

What encouragement would you give to those who are interested in being in your industry?

To just start writing what’s in your heart to write. Don’t be afraid to seek advice from others that are seasoned in the industry and soak up all the knowledge you can. Network with others in the industry.

What do you think is the most important qualities for people to have in your industry?

What obstacles have you overcome, or are you overcoming to excel in your industry?

The obstacle of comparing. Comparing others successes vs. my own. That isn’t a good thing to do. Everyone can win and everyone’s journey is different and progresses at different levels.

What accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?

Outside of my children. This place I’m in now at this juncture in my journey. To have written five books and have three published, my stations, my brand as a whole that I’ve built, I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come and I plan to go even further, I’m not done yet.

Who is is one person that has influenced your direction in life? Explain How.

My late brother, Michael and very good friends who’ve pushed and motivated me. I get inspired and motivated when I see my other creative and gifted friends do amazing things, it drives me to do more.

What advice would you give to the younger generation?

Don’t wait. Do what you want to do now, get your education in the area you want to have a career in or build your own business. Whatever your path, go for it and believe you can achieve anything you put your mind to.

What do you want your legacy to be?

I want my legacy to one of strength, drive, creativity. I want my children and everyone to be proud of all I’ve accomplished and that my legacy continues with them. I’m a Creative and proud of that. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What else would you like people to know about you?

My love and passion has and always will be the Arts. I live and breathe it. I’m an advocate for Arts & Entertainment and want to motivate and helps others in this industry.
