Michelle Petties | Book: Leaving Large -The Stories of a Food Addict

I teach overstressed, overweight Black women how to uncover the true story around their battles with yo yo dieting and overeating so that they can experience more pride, power, peace, prosperity, freedom, confidence, and joy in a body that they love.

After four decades of gaining and losing 700 plus pounds, I finally discovered the “secret” to ending the battle between my mind, body and hunger –my Food Stories. I am an author, speaker, Food Story Finder, experiential eating expert, and recovering food addict. My first book, Leaving Large – The Stories of a Food Addict, chronicles a lifetime of eating for all the wrong reasons. By unlocking my own unique Food Stories, I debunked long held misconceptions and misconnections about the purpose of eating. Armed with these insights, I now teaches others how to find their own food truths.
