- Healing is my gift and passion.
What do you love most about your role in your industry?
- Connecting with others, witnessing growth and breaking unhealthy generational patterns.
What is the best advice you have received about how to impact your industry?
- Just from my own experience? Being authentic and practicing what I teach.
What do you think are the top 3 things that help people excel in your industry?
- Skill, intuition (empathy) and the ability to truly believe in their healing/growth. Sometimes the hope I have in someone is the only hope they have in the beginning.
What encouragement would you give to those who are interested in being in your industry?
- Volunteer or shadow. Maybe work in the industry. Also, I always have said "if you would do it for free and feel a sense if fulfillment; its probably your passion" I Volunteered in this industry for years before I even attended graduate school.
What do you think is the most important qualities for people to have in your industry?
- Authenticity. Compassion. Spirituality. Knowledge.
What obstacles have you overcome, or are you overcoming to excel in your industry?
- It's so important to continue your own individual growth and healing as you also help others to do the same. It's a forever journey.
What accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?
- I always told my so "if you could do what you love and get paid for it, that's success" I do what I love and I get paid for it.
Who is is one person that has influenced your direction in life? Explain How.
- God & self. Not to sound too dramatic, but its been the path of listening to my inner voice and staying on my path by remaining connected to my faith.
What advice would you give to the younger generation?
- Follow your dreams. Try not to entertain anything that doesn't honor your highest self. More practical? Be smart about your finances, investing, saving, etc. Being raised by my Afro-Cuban mother who knew little English and worked so hard for most of her life, I learned how to work hard myself. I would tell the younger generation to work SMART
What do you want your legacy to be?
- I'm writing a children's book series. I'd love that to be something that stays around for years and years to come. Also to spread knowledge about wellbeing and help many to heal, break unhealthy patterns and become. My entire client base are individuals of color. It hits different to me. 🧡
What else would you like people to know about you?
- I love what I do. I have a tremendous amount to learn, but I am really good at what I do. I'm truly invested.
