Kori Hazel is a Denver native who has paved a way in the Mile High City’s music scene on his own terms. Beginning his journey in the industry at Tucson’s Rialto Theatre while attending the University of Arizona, Hazel has made it a point to immerse himself in as many facets of the industry as possible working with entities like Z2 Entertainment, Madison House and RED Distribution.

Currently a wearer of many hats at 303 Magazine, Hazel is involved in talent buying, writing, project management and photography amongst other things, but all revolving around music. To date, Hazel has worked with the likes of New Belgium, The Underground Music Showcase, Visit Denver and more on various creative projects and installations.

The core of Hazel’s work, however, is dealing with local musicians, telling their story and creating creative opportunities to showcase the city’s immense talent. Kori Hazel also manages Denver bands VYNYL and Oxeye Daisy.
