Jasmin Pierson | Operations Controller

I am a water operations controller at Colorado Springs Utilities. I have worked here for seven years. I operate our water distribution, raw water, non-potable and wastewater systems through our Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system—otherwise known as SCADA. This is a computer system that monitors and controls our equipment and technology in the field. Part of my responsibilities include forecasting day to day water usage and keeping the water system operating efficiently to deliver water safely and reliably.

Since we are such a diverse company it allows different perspectives on ideas and unique insight into problems.
