About J. Carter
J. Carter is a musician, singer, songwriter, audio engineer, performer, motion graphics artist, videographer and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Colorado, most years in Colorado Springs, right outside Denver, J. Carter discovered his creative passions early on. With his passion for God driving him, he began playing and singing in church worship teams and his love for music grew. In high school, he was introduced to the world of recording music and composing and never looked back. He knew the path he wanted to pursue and went on to get his bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Since then he has been performing around the United States and recording and releasing music for himself and other aspiring artists as well as leading worship. In 2010, J. Carter partnered with ministers and musicians in Colorado Springs to create City Lights Ministries. They held monthly events for outreach in the Colorado Springs area and beyond spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the years J. Carter continued to write, record, and release his music and has had the great opportunity to work with some amazing artists such as Andy Mineo, Flame, Bizzle, Datin, JSon, Spec, C-Micah, and SOCOM to name a few.
His brand new album 4 Corners was released in March and contains 16 tracks meant to inspire and lead you closer the Jesus. This is the first official album of J. Carter and is available where all music is streamed/sold. This year is planned to be full of big things as J. Carter plans to release more music this year as well as tour.
