We first met Irina at the youth open mic at our poetry festival in 2018. She got on the mic and blew us all way. Since then it was been so wonderful to see how presence in the poetry community and her time on the mic increase. Her poems are beautiful, sensuous, and powerful. She not afraid of the mic and it shows because everyone line hits and is explosive and truthful. She is currently attending UCCS. She is passionate about social justice and politics and takes the debate stage with grace.
