From a young age, Gale found joy in singing, always lifting her voice in praise to the Lord. “Singing just lifts me up whenever I’m down, lost, or even happy,” she shares. Gale started her professional path at Camp Pendleton as a cashier and worked her way up to assisting supervisors. From there, she took on various roles, including working at the Marine Corps Exchange and the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant as a guard. Gale’s journey in the workforce continued as she drove buses for NCTD and later worked as a cashier at Albertsons and Vons. Though she had to stop working in 2003 due to illness, her impact on her colleagues and customers remains unforgettable.

If Gale could share one piece of advice with her younger self, it would be simple yet profound: “Don’t give up. God has your back. Just keep Him first and keep on praying; He will see you through.” Gale’s strong family values have played a central role in her life. With the unwavering support of her mother, her twin aunt, and her uncles, she realizes how crucial family is during challenging times. “I love God for blessing me with so many memories of my family,” she adds, emphasizing her gratitude for the love that surrounds her.
