being black in Denver meant being a prominent voice in a minority position.

Erica Cobb | Television Host & Comeback Kid

When I moved to Denver from Chicago a decade ago to host a morning radio show, being black in Denver meant being a prominent voice in a minority position. Today, I continue to strive to find a unique way to be a voice and a face of representation in an ever-changing landscape. I feel today being black in Denver means helping to carve out a narrative of inclusivity and representation, so we have our piece of the history pie during this Great Denver Migration.
