Dr. Lisa Vallejos is committed to challenging mental health pros to do better for POC by creating anti-oppressive practices. Lisa strives to create safe spaces for POC to thrive & to live well.
Biography
Lisa has her Ph.D. in psychology & is a licensed professional counselor. In real life, she is a mentor to therapists who are on the journey to developing cultural competence & intentionally inclusive communities. Lisa is a published author & believes that until all of us are free, none of us are.
Lisa offers training & mentoring to mental health professionals committed to anti-oppression and intentionally inclusive practices.
Lisa is a poet, artist, free thinker, activist and is committed to mentoring women leaders who transform themselves, their communities and the world.
Lisa is the founder of the Professionals of Color Network where together, we rise.
