I hold an Acupressure & Reflexology certification from the Advanced Therapy Institute of Touch. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Bethune-Cookman University and Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, with an emphasis in intimate partner violence (IPV), domestic violence (DV), and family dynamics. I am a cognitive/behavioral specialist for A Cognitive Connection in Colorado Springs, where I primarily work with those who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. I utilize the NeurOptimal® neurofeedback brain training system to achieve brain/human optimization along with the Mind’sEye Mental Fitness System and V.I.B.E. (Vibrational Individualized Body Enhancement) System. All of the modalities I offer help to assist the body’s innate self-healing capability to repair itself. My background has given me the experience, education, training, and supervision to work professionally and competently with others in bodywork as well as communicatively.
