What do you do?

I’m a digital content creator based in Denver. I create sets for photography backdrops. Additionally, I am a photographer and event planner. I’m literally a doer of all things. If the task involves anything creative, I do it. I’ve learned that if you have an idea, go for it.do it. The worst thing you can do is fail and learn from it and try again and do it better.

What’s your style of photography?

I’m still trying to figure that out. My style is very vibrant. I like rich, bold colors. My pictures stand out if you see them because they really draw you in.

What would you tell yourself?

I would tell my younger self not to care anyone thinks. When I was growing up, I always wanted to do photography. My parents said to only take it up as a hobby. They wanted to see me get a degree in something else instead. So I put photography on the back burner. As time went on, I noticed that people who started practicing photography after me were surpassing me. It made me regret not pursuing photography at a younger age. No matter what anyone says, if you have a passion for something, go for it. There’s someone out there that’s waiting on your dream, art, creativity, or gift. If it doesn’t work, you can always start over.

What are some tips you would give to an amateur photographer?

Use every day to perfect your craft. There are always new things to learn. You have to be willing to invest in yourself. Put a lot of money into what you love doing. I wanted to show people my art and what I can do. You can’t always worry about the money because the money will come, you have to stick to what you’re doing and get yourself out there.
