I’m Pastor Bernard Wesley, I have been producing gospel & jazz events for 35 years. I started with the United Negro College Fund producing dinner shows. Then at my family church, King Baptist Church in Denver Co. Started producing gospel concerts in the early eighties. I was involved in producing KBC’s first gospel album with Philp Bailey from the group, Earth, Wind & Fire. Also Daryl Colley & Oliver Wells. From there I started bringing different jazz artists to Denver. Jonathan Butler, Gerald Albright, George Howard. From there I’m currently involved in bringing artists to the Black Arts Festival this year, and now Le Andria Johnson on September 29th at 7:00 PM in Aurora, at Restoration Christian Fellowship.

Tina Purnell’s passion for writing began when she was a young girl writing for her high school newspaper. Since then, she has authored and co-authored three books to include her best-seller, “Out of Darkness.” Her next book, “Woman at The Well: Laugh, Love and God,” will be released in early 2020. Ms. Adams has always loved writing and sharing messages that God would give her through the written word. She began freelance editing in 2019, and soon after launched her editing company, Inkwell Edits. Erica Crutcher is a legacy on her own, she is a wife, a hardworking mother of three and a model Veteran wife who has shown her strength after I was injured in the Army. I don’t know how but with that mind she masterfully built the first Aquatic farm in Bennett Colorado. She started with nothing family raised in near poverty no loans or grants out if bare pockets she made her dream come true, now because she was on rented land, the landowner foreclosed the property and she was forced to hault the work she created and had to shut it down . She also was ble to place four new jobs in Bennett that was promising.. I am so proud of what she accomplished for our family and our town of Bennett, she brought a great spirit around here, gave hope to my daughter she can do anything with heart, fight, determination, .. Yes my wife became the first Registered African American Farmer of Bennett Colorado July 24, 2017. There has been no other in Colorado!
