Joslyn Reese & Brittney Rae Reese

Nomination: Joslyn Reese and Brittney Rae Reese are sisters and co-founders of FIT & NU™, a habit-based health club located in Aurora, Colorado, with the mission of eliminating health disparities and creating inclusive spaces for women of color. Together, these two sisters have served thousands of women over the past 6 years and have been prominently featured in places such as 303 Magazine, 5280 Magazine, Martinis and Your Money podcast, and an ongoing 9News segment about health and wellness. Their passion and tenacity has attracted the attention of several organizations and companies, including Comcast, Tory Burch, and Goldman Sachs. They also work with state and local organizations through their CDC-accredited Emphasize Life program, which helps women prevent or delay Type 2 diabetes through modest lifestyle changes. FIT & NU™ has been nationally recognized by the Federal House Committee on Small Business as Colorado’s 2019 National Small Business Heroes, for exemplifying determination, hard work, and creativity that showcased the American entrepreneurial spirit.
